Rare or localised Outstanding size The largest example within a stand of mature Mountain Ash (Eucalyptus regnans), the tree's major interest is its easterly location and mature form. A second tree located further south with a hollow trunk has a girth of 9.3m. Another large stand occurs along Hensleigh Creek Road although these trees are not as large. Outstanding size The stand includes the tallest known tree in Victoria (The Big Tree) and is located near the old Cambarville Mill in the Cumberland Valley. As the area escaped the 1939 fires, it contains one of the few remaining virgin stands of Mountain Ash in Victoria.
